Robert (Bobby) Riggs

After I sold my business a few years ago, a friend of mind suggested that I take up Duplicated Bridge at one of the local clubs  around town as a way to keep busy until I decided what I wanted to do next. I did just that and I became "hooked" on the game.  I like both the competition and the social aspect of the game.  Even though I became involved in several other businesses, I stayed with the game for those reasons. I try to play at least twice to three times a week with as many partners as I can get to play with me. 

This is a game that the more you play, the better you become (or so I hope)!  So if I can get away with it, I'll play more if I can.  But usually my wife has firm ideas about what I can do and when!  Especially about playing Bridge with my guy friends.

I am looking forward to working with other members of the local Bridge Unit to expand as much as possible the social aspects of the game.
