Jackie Baker

I began taking lessons and playing social bridge about 10 years ago. My first competitive duplicate game was at the 2007 St. Louis Nationals. After playing 13 sessions there, I was hooked. While still an Intermediate/Novice player, I love the game and the challenge it provides. Additional lessons from extraordinary teachers, plus help and patience from the more experienced players, club and tournament directors, have made my bridge journey enjoyable and exciting.

I look forward to serving on the Unit 143 Board of Directors and I especially hope to assist the continued development of the Intermediate/Novice Program.

My board experience includes Friends of St. Louis Children's Hospital, Parents' Council at John Burroughs School, Friends Council of the Humane Society of Missouri and Board of Trustees for the St. Louis Zoo.
