Bob Griffin

I first learned bridge in high school, taught by the ‘parish padre’,  who also introduced us to classical music.  I liked Ravel’s “Bolero” even before the movie “10”.  I didn’t play much bridge after college until picking it up again in July 2009.

I have a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Saint Louis University, 1973.  I taught algebra and calculus as a teaching assistant in graduate school and computer programming at a trade school, similar to Vatterott, in Denver.  I worked about 30 years as a computer programmer, mostly as a contractor and consultant, for AIC and retired in 2005.

I am an avid reader, with about 5,000 books; I like old movies, especially film noir; I play a lot of bridge, of course; and I root for the Cardinals in good times and bad.
